How do I play Gatekeeper?
Open the game on the homepage and click Play free. Move with WASD or arrow keys, drag on the arena, or use the touch joystick on mobile. Attacks fire automatically at the nearest enemy. Space or DASH performs a dash; P or Pause pauses. Defeat five waves and the Rift King.
Do I need to buy anything to finish the game?
No. The entire game can be played with the free Wayfarer Wand and Traveler Coat. Paid weapons, armor, companions and relics provide optional build choices. You can play as a guest.
What do the shop items do?
Each item unlocks a defined equipment choice inside this game. Read the listed attributes before buying. Equip one weapon, one armor, one companion and one relic. Equipment changes apply on your next run. The catalog is not a set of third-party game items or downloadable art packs.
How do purchases reach my game?
Sign in before checkout. If you are new, create an account on the account page; you will return to checkout with your cart saved. After payment is confirmed, open the homepage game Inventory and click Refresh purchases. Use the account that placed the order. Pending, failed, cancelled and refunded orders do not grant active entitlements.
Can I change equipment during a run?
You can browse and save equipment while a run is paused, but the current run keeps the equipment it started with. A new run loads your latest saved account loadout.
Why does the guardian not change into the product picture?
Product images are collectible concept illustrations. The current game uses shared guardian and companion sprites; equipment changes its listed statistics and attacks. Weapon bolts have equipment-specific colors, patterns and effects. Items are not separate character skins.
Are items permanent or consumable?
They are non-consumable account unlocks with no scheduled expiry while the service is available. They cannot be transferred, redeemed for money or used in third-party games. Permanent does not promise perpetual website operation.
What if payment fails or an item is missing?
Submitting PayPal checkout creates a Pending payment order in My Account and clears the submitted cart. No funds are charged while PayPal is not connected. Check your account and order status, then refresh inventory. Contact support with your order number and checkout email if a confirmed purchase is missing. Never send your password.
How do refunds affect my equipment?
A full refund or fully refunded item line revokes that entitlement unless another paid order still grants it. Saved refunded gear falls back to free gear on the next refresh or run. A support ticket is a request, not an approved refund.
How are game progress and scores saved?
Purchased items and equipped loadouts follow your account. The personal-best score is saved in this browser on this device. Individual runs restart from wave one and are not saved between page loads. Scores have no cash value.
Will I be charged real money in this local preview?
No. The PayPal button creates an order with Pending payment status. It does not open PayPal, collect payment details or charge real money. View or cancel your unpaid order in My Account. Game items remain locked until payment is confirmed. Outgoing mail is currently captured in the local administration outbox rather than sent.
